Allison asked “Can I use my financial aid to pay for EnVision?”
Absolutely Allison! When your financial aid is released to The University of Akron, they distribute it to fees, tuition, etc. The money that would normally be used for on campus housing would then be refunded back to you. You can use that refund to pay for EnVision and any other living expenses. There is additional information on that subject here.

Natasha asked “Do we still need a meal plan”?
Absolutely not. While we are student housing, we are off campus housing – not affiliated with the University. Our apartments offer full kitchens with gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal and a huge refrigerator. You will finally have the opportunity to cook on your own and eat what you want.

Joe’s mom asked “What are you doing about security”?
Well Terri, we have taken many steps toward the safety of our residents. All of our buildings will have control entry access, meaning you will have to have a key fob to enter any main building door. Key fobs in themselves are very secure in that they cannot be duplicated like you can make a copy of a key. If a fob is lost it can be deactivated by management. We will also have a camera system throughout the property, on campus emergency (blue phones) on site and we have hired Akron Police officers to patrol after office hours. The property will also be be very well lit. We have added many additional post lights along with pole lighting through out the community.

Ian asked “Do we have to sign our guests in and out”?
No Ian, but for security purposes you will need to let guests into the building. Our buildings are designed with an electronic key fob system. Your fob will give you access to the building, your apartment and your personal bedroom. It will also allow you access to the fitness and lounge areas.

Jerry asked “Is each person on their own lease”?
Yes Jerry, we rent by the bed, so each student is on a seperate Lease Contract. What that means to you is, if one of your roommates happens to move out you are not responsible for their portion of the rent. Give us a call and we can explain it to you in more detail.

Casey asked “Do you have any two bedrooms left for spring semester”?
Well Casey, we only have 2 – two bedroom roommate matches left for spring semester. If you are interested in getting into a two bedroom I suggest that you hurry in. We do have a SPECIAL going on that is offering $100.00 OFF your Admin. Fee if you reserve before Nov. 24th. Give us a call if you have any other questions….

Kayla asked “Is there parking at EnVision”?
Yes Kayla, there is on site parking. We have limited spaces available and they can be reserved at the time of rental.

Mark asked “How do I pay my hold fee’s on-line?”
Okay Mark, it’s really easy – just go to our EnVision web site, bottom left corner it says “Pay rent on line now”. Register with a few simple questions and make your payment. It’s that easy!

Kim’s mom asked “What is the move in date for Spring semester?”
JoAnn, new students will be moving into their apartments at EnVision on January 3rd, 2011. We can offer availability to come straight from the dorm to the apartment without having to move anything home and bring it back. If you have questions about that please give the Leasing Office a call.

John asked “Will the fitness center be open in January when I move in?”
Yes John, there will be a fitness center open for our first move in’s this January. The fitness centers will be located in the lower level of several buildings throughout the community. There will also be tv/study/entertainment lounges throughout the community. There is also bicycle storage in the lower level of each building.
